Yeah, I'm fnding that I can usually tell what's coming in his stories, as well. But Lovecraft was like that, too. You could usually see how it was going to end because you just thought of the worst possible resolution for the story, and it usually wouldn't dissapoint you in that regard.

I wish I'd researched Museum of Terror sooner. I'd seen volume three yesterday, but didn't buy it because I thought it was all one long, over-arching story. I couldn't find Gyo at all, sadly.

I think Uzumaki is freaky enough, even when you know what's coming...I would always skip to the end of the book. I like Gyo, too, because the story is much deeper than I thought it would be. Also check out the short story collection Museum of Terror.

I just bought the first volume of Uzumaki. Very enjoyable so far, but I have a bad habit with manga and comics of looking at the next page from the one I'm on before I get there, thus destroying much of the suspense. Ah, well.

Back away from the keyboard and get thee to a fine manga establishment or like a Border's or something. Uzumaki is the bee's knees.

This comic has made me want to read Uzumaki (well, ok, Nich is half responsible for that, too) and Gyo, so I hope you're REAL happy. >=-\
